Living in Our Bodies
A Group for Living Well with Chronic Illness
Online | Adults (18+)
Living with chronic illness can mean constantly adjusting to a world that wasn’t built with your needs in mind. Living in Our Bodies is a supportive, therapist-led group for people navigating chronic physical health conditions who want to reconnect with their bodies, build emotional resilience, and find new ways to shape life around what truly works for them.
In this group, we’ll explore:
Somatic (body-based) tools for grounding, calming, and increasing body awareness
Skills for managing difficult emotions like frustration, grief, and overwhelm
Communication and advocacy strategies—especially in medical and caregiving contexts
Education on how the healthcare system functions and how to navigate it
Gentle exploration of how to design a life that honors your energy, boundaries, and needs
This group isn’t about “pushing through” or trying to fix yourself—it’s about coming home to your body, learning to advocate for what you need, and building a life that makes space for you to thrive as you are.
No fixed timeline — join when you’re ready, stay as long as it serves you
Weekly, 1-hour sessions
Open to all identities and bodies
Come as you are. You’re not alone in this.
